IT RESOLVED THAT the September 7, 2021 Council Meeting of the Township of South Glengarry now be opened at 7:00 pm

IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Township of South Glengarry approve the agenda as circulated.

IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the August 3, 2021 Regular Council Meeting be adopted as circulated.

IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the August 16, 2021 Special Council Meeting, including the Closed Session Minutes, be adopted as circulated.

IT RESOLVED THAT Staff Report 119-2021 be received and that Administration be directed to prepare a Road Maintenance Plan for the Corporation of the Township of South Glengarry and furthermore, that a Road Maintenance Plan Committee be established to assist in the preparation of this plan.

IT RESOLVED THAT Staff Report 120-2021 be received and that By-law 74-2021, being a by-law to stop up and close the roads formerly registered as Don Boudria Drive (PINs 671530280, 67530282, 671530283 & 671530284), Donna Lisa Road (PINs 671530281 & 671530285) and Kimberly Lyn Road (PIN 671530279) located in part of Lot 3, Concession 9, in the geographic Township of Lancaster, now in the Township of South Glengarry, County of Glengarry, be read a first, second and third time, passed, signed and sealed in Open Council this 7th day of September, 2021.

IT RESOLVED THAT Staff Report 122-2021 be received and that By-law 73-2021, being a by-law to appoint a Livestock Valuer for the Corporation of the Township of South Glengarry be read a first, second and third time, passed, signed and sealed in Open Council this 7th day of September, 2021.

IT RESOLVED THAT Staff Report 123-2021 be received and that Tender 19-2021 for the rehabilitation of the Peanut Line Bridge be awarded to Glengarry Millwrights as per their submission of $107,500 plus HST and furthermore, that the Deputy Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign all applicable documents.

IT RESOLVED THAT Staff Report 124-2021 be received and that the Council of the Township of South Glengarry award Procurement 14-2021 for the purchase of a Fire Tanker Apparatus to Battleshield Industries as per their submission of $423,330 plus HST and furthermore, that the Deputy Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign any relevant documents.

IT RESOLVED THAT the September 20, 2021 Regular Council Meeting be advanced to Friday, September 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm to accommodate the Federal Election.

IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Township of South Glengarry accepts the items presented on the agenda as Committee Reports and For Information Only.

IT RESOLVED THAT Council convene to Closed Session at 9:35 pm to discuss the following items under Section 239 (2) of the municipal Act: (2) A meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is, (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual -Discussion: Identifiable Individuals -Performance Evaluation: Staff Member (d) Labour relations or employee negoitations -Information Report

IT RESOLVED THAT Tim Mills be appointed Acting Clerk for the Performance Evaluation item to be discussed in Closed Session.

IT RESOLVED THAT Council rise and reconvene into Open Session at 10:45 pm without reporting.

IT RESOLVED THAT By-law 75-2021, being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution be read a first, second and third time, passed, signed and sealed in Open Council this 7th day of September, 2021.
